It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric Charles Tisor, who departed this world on December 16, 2025, in Sandy, Utah, at the age of 53. Born on January 17, 1972, in Jacksonville, Florida, Eric lived a life marked by kindness, love, and generosity that left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Eric dedicated his career to The Pie Pizzeria where he was remembered not just for his work ethic, but for his warm spirit that resonated with customers and colleagues alike. He approached life with a zest for experiences, often sharing joyful moments with his beloved family, especially his niece Brittney and nephews Nick and Kory. Some of their fondest memories are of Eric celebrating their birthdays by taking them to the movies or going shopping, a testament to his unwavering support and affection.
An enthusiast for collecting, Eric found delight in amassing Star Wars and GI Joe action figures and other collectibles, a hobby that showcased both his playful nature and sense of nostalgia. He also cherished the simple joys of life, like spending afternoons at the dog park with his golden lab, Pip, creating memories that were built on friendship and loyalty.
Eric graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a reminder of his determination and commitment to bettering himself. His personality was a tapestry woven from kindness, generosity, and love, traits that endeared him to all those fortunate enough to cross his path.
He is survived by his loving mother, Judith Tisor; brothers Scott Tisor and Ken Tisor, along with their wives, Susan and Allison, respectively; nieces Brittney Grange (Mike) and Jordan Tisor; and nephews Nick Tisor (Syndey), Kory Tisor (Kate); as well as great nephews Gavin Grange, Nixon Tisor, Bentley Tisor; and great nieces Addi Tisor, Eleigha Tisor, and Lola Tisor.
Eric’s father, Gary Edward Tisor, preceded him in death, and while he will be missed dearly, the legacy of love he created continues to shine brightly in the hearts of his family and friends.
A graveside service in honor of Eric will take place on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary and Cemetery, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah 84070. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate a life that brought so much happiness to those around him. In this time of sorrow, we remember Eric not just for the loss we feel, but for the joy he brought into our lives, eternally cherished in our memories.
