Eugene John Pietruszewski

Eugene J. Pietruszewski, 77, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, with his daughter by his side.

He was a man defined by love, gentleness, humor, quiet strength, and a selfless heart. He loved the simple, meaningful parts of life fishing, camping, being outdoors, and spending time with the people he loved most. These were the places where he felt most at peace, and where he created memories, his family will hold close forever.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and John; his parents Helen and Sigmund; and his brother Frank.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary, and his grandchildren: Hannah, Anthony, Ray, and Donavan; His sister, Billie Ann, and many close friends who will forever cherish him, including his long-time partner, Belinda.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM, with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM, at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121. Cremation and interment to follow; interment will be Monday, December 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park, 17111 1700 W, Bluffdale, UT 84065.

His memory will live on in the stories he shared, the hands he held, the love he left behind, and the quiet strength he passed on to those who knew him.
