Eva F. Hall

Eva May Fife Hall our Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, and Great Grandma passed away peacefully at her home May 1, 2008. Her dear companion, friend, and soul mate Jay Hall was by her side as she passed into the arms of loved ones on other side. Eva will be remembered by all of her family and friends for her quick wit and unbelievable memory. She loved to spend her time reading anything that was within reach, to sew, do needlework and many other types of crafts. She loved to spend hours playing with her grand kids, and sharing many stories from memories. She was married to her sweetheart on May 15, 1950 and later sealed to her eternal companion on April 19, 1978 in the Salt Lake City Temple. She was blessed with one son and one daughter. She was born in Idaho Falls, Id February 14, 1919 to DelMonto and May Fife. She attended Utah State University where she received a degree in Business Administration. She was a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers as well many other community organizations. She is survived by her husband Jay, her daughter Jalene (Russell) Young, her son Lynn (Teri) Hall, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren (soon to be eight). Two sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Canyon Rim 1st ward, 3100 East 3000 South. Friends may visit with the family Monday evening at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, from 6:00 to 8:00pm and at the church Tuesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30am prior to services.
