Evie Nanette Hensley

Our loving daughter Evie Nanette Hensley passed away June 15, 2007 at Primary Children's Medical Center from complications at birth. Evie's Gift Little Evie - precious child, when you arrived, the world smiled. You came to us, eyes open wide. Our hearts were filled with joy and pride. Minutes faded, hours passed, but your fragile body couldn't last. We were forced to let you go, but how you touched us, you'll never know. We hear your laughter and words so kind. Not with our ears, but in our mind. We see your frilly dresses with polka dots. Not with our eyes, but in our thoughts. Sincere prayers uttered while you knelt, perhaps not heard but always felt. As your fingers touch us from worlds apart, we still sense them in our heart. Though we'd like to have held you longer, you've brought us closer - made us stronger. Thank you Evie, for what you've given. Because of you, we are more driven. We'll miss you for things that cannot be, but are grateful to call you family. We'll be patient now, for around the bend, we know we'll all see you again. Jamison Hensley

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 20, 2007, 1:00PM at the Harmony Park Ward Building, 3805 South Main Street, where friends may visit with the family from 11:00am until 12:45pm prior to the services.
