Florence Louisa Plumline

Florence L. Plumline, age 98, passed away peacefully on Sept. 14, 2013 at Holladay Health Care Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Previously she had lived in Newport, Delaware for 58 years. She was a member of Peniel Methodist Church. Florence graduated from Wilmington High School and Goldey Beacom College.

She worked for Hercules in Wilmington, Delaware for over 35 years as an executive secretary. Upon retiring from Hercules, she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked for the Red Cross, F.A.A., and AARP in Utah.

Florence loved to sew, swim in the ocean, and go to New York City, to see the latest Broadway shows. She traveled throughout Europe and extensively all over the United States. Florence especially liked to drive her red Jeep out into the desert and sleep under the stars. Auntie Flop was a true free spirit!!

Florence was predeceased by her parents George and Helen Plumline; brothers, George and James; and sister, Barbara. She is survived by four nephews, Steve, Dave, Mike, and Jeff Bogart; and two nieces, Kathy Plumline and Eileen Hahn.
