Floyd Clark Noel Jr.

July 8, 1937 — December 21, 2025

Floyd Clark Noel Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 88 years old.

Clark was born on July 8, 1937, in Vernal, Utah, at Clark Hospital, delivered by Dr. Clark. He was born to Floyd Clark Noel and Dorothy Clark Noel, whom he deeply loved and honored throughout his life.

Clark graduated from Dixie High School and continued his education at Dixie College and Weber State College. As a young man, he faithfully served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Southern States Spanish-Speaking Mission, primarily serving in Texas—an experience that shaped his testimony and lifelong devotion to the gospel.

In the summer of 1962, Clark met the love of his life, Judy Fitts. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on May 31, 1963. Their marriage was a beautiful example of love, commitment, faith, and partnership.

Clark built a distinguished professional career as a Certified Public Accountant. He worked in public accounting, served as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for a privately held company, and found the highlight of his career working as a Senior Auditor for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. During his time there, he formed deep and lasting friendships, including a group of colleagues who faithfully met for lunch every Thursday for more than 40 years.

A devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, Clark served faithfully in every calling he was asked to fulfill. His most cherished service was as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple, which he considered one of the greatest blessings of his life. He often bore testimony to his family of the sacred nature of the temple and the eternal blessing of families being sealed together forever.

Clark and Judy were blessed with four children: Brian Noel (RuthAnne), Holly Raddatz (Carl), Heather Stout (Cliff),and Brett Noel (Sarah).

He was the proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 19+ great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy.

Clark is survived by his two brothers Frank Noel (Karen) and Howard Noel (Mary).

Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dorothy Noel; his beloved wife, Judy Fitts Noel; his grandson, Jarod Noel; and most recently, his dear sister, Marilyn Bailey.

Clark’s life was marked by faith, integrity, kindness, and quiet service. He leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion to family, and unwavering testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. His influence will continue to be felt for generations, and his family finds peace in the promise of eternal families.

Funeral services and a celebration of Clark’s life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the South Jordan Utah River Stake Center (River 10th Ward) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1570 W. 11400 S., South Jordan, Utah.
