Fonda "Kay" Sorensen

Fonda "Kay" Sorensen, 75, died February 26, 2014. Born November 13, 1938 to T.W. and Chrystal Aiken in Spring City, UT, the seventh of nine children. Eloped with Arthur Dan Sorensen, her childhood sweetheart, on August 31, 1954. Devoted to her family and loved attending her children's and grandchildren's activities. She loved her extended family, friends, the gospel, serving others, gardening, flowers, hummingbirds, bowling, camping, boating and reading.

Survived by her children Cody, Jeff, Stacey (Mike) Rasmuson; her grandchildren Stephanie, Kasey, Thomas (Kirsten), Mikayla, Hayden, Hallie; and one great-grandchild Rylee.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Winder 7th LDS Ward, 4350 So. 1100 E. in Salt Lake City. Friends may visit with the family on Friday evening February 28, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am prior to services.
