Frances Knight Miller 1918 ~ 2008

Frances Knight Miller, 89, passed away on Saturday July 26, 2008. She was preceded in death by Henry Miller Jr., her son-in-law Larry Larson and her son Richard Miller. Frances is survived by her daughter Georgia Larson and son Robert Miller, 11 grandchildren (Richard Larson, Dawna Martinez, Reed Larson, Pam Cogal, Sheri Hanks, Kristie Marie Allen, Jason Johnson, Ryan Miller, Jaymes Silver, Robbie Miller and Jenny Miller) and 14 great grandchildren. Frances was born on December 17, 1918 in Montgomery, Alabama. She married Henry Miller Jr. on May 25, 1944 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. She was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and was especially known for her fine quilt work. She loved spending time with her family and among her favorite activities were taking grandchildren on outdoor activities and, in her remaining years, working in her garden. There will be a viewing on Tuesday evening (6pm-8pm) July 29th at Holbrook Mortuary (3251 South 2300 East) and a graveside service on Wednesday July 30th (2pm) at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (3401 South Highland Drive).
