Francisco Batalla February 5, 1982 – August 26, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francisco Batalla, a man whose presence and love touched the lives of so many. Francisco, born February 5, 1982, was a dedicated worker for 20 years, always putting in the effort to provide for his family. He was a proud father to two sons, a loving stepfather to six children, and a son who cherished his parents. Francisco had a special bond with his seven siblings and grew up alongside many cousins who were like siblings.
Known for his tough love, Francisco lived life with a deep sense of passion. He embraced his culture, often enjoying home-cooked Mexican comfort food which he would call his mom to make or send his sisters to ask her, and had a style that was unmistakable—from his gold chains to his fresh air maxes and haircuts. His heart was as big as his personality, and his five dogs, especially Benny Blanco, his ride-or-die, were a testament to the loyalty he showed to those he loved.
Francisco had a wonderful sense of humor and was always quick with a joke. His laugh was contagious, and though he didn’t always flash his smile, when he did, it could light up a room. He loved making people laugh and never missed an opportunity to make a loud, joyful noise after a good drink or a delicious meal. Francisco knew how to enjoy life, and his energy was always felt by those around him.
He shared a special bond with me, Alisha, as we raised our child together, separated for a time, but later reunited, knowing deep down we were soulmates. Our love was genuine and deep, and we shared many adventures—life together was always an exciting ride.
Francisco’s passing leaves a void in our hearts, but his legacy will live on through the memories of his laughter, his love for life, and his unwavering commitment to his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, siblings, children, stepchildren, and countless relatives and friends who were lucky to know him.
