Gabrielle Makenna Shull

Gabrielle Makenna Shull, age 24, left our lives January 20th, 2024 and was found April 25th, 2025 in Alpine, UT. Gabbie (as she was known to most) was born August 28th, 1999 in Provo, UT.

Raised in Highland, UT, Gabbie’s childhood could be best described as a fevered curiosity about everything in life. From video games, to precious minerals, politics, quantum physics, and the morality of AI. She was intensely creative and loved to draw, role playing games, and reading.

She attended the University of Utah, majoring in computer science. She enjoyed attending extra curricular activities and meeting new people. She was passionate about making the world a better place and wanting to help improve the lives of others. Some of her main interests were transhumanism, climate change, US politics, science and engineering, AR/VR, AI, electric vehicles and autonomous driving.

Gabbie is lovingly remembered by her parents (Joseph and Kristina) as well as her siblings (Joseph, Beverly, Diana, Alister, and Violet).
