Geoffrey Paul Rowe

April 11, 1980 — June 20, 2025

Our Beloved Son, Brother, Friend, and Uncle, Geoffrey Paul Rowe, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2025 in Austin Texas.

Geoff was a remarkable, hardworking, loving, caring, tenacious, funny person. He was always driven to master whatever he set his mind to. Whether it was surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, or art, he practiced relentlessly until he excelled — not because it was easy, but because he loved the process of learning, improving and achieving. Geoff dedicated three years of his life as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, blessing the lives of many.

Geoff earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and later completed his MBA at UC Riverside. He built a remarkable career in the video game industry, steadily rising through the ranks at several companies including Blizzard, Activision, and Riot, before serving as Senior Vice President concurrently at Zynga, Take-Two Interactive and 2K. Geoff brought passion, creativity, hard work, and vision to everything he worked on, and he made a lasting impact on the industry and the people within it.

A lifelong car enthusiast, Geoff could identify the make, model, and year of nearly any car by sight as a child. What began with Hot Wheels evolved into a true passion — over his lifetime, he owned more than 100 cars, always managing to find the best deal with his expert negotiation skills and keen eye.

But more than anything, Geoff had a gift for people. He was a natural connector, cultivating deep friendships and bringing others together with warmth, humor, and loyalty. He valued his relationships deeply and had a sharp wit and love for pranks that made him unforgettable to those who knew him. Geoff was a wonderful son and a loyal friend to so many. He was a rock in his family.

Geoff will be dearly missed, continually loved, and we look forward to seeing him once again. Geoff will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the joy, laughter, and kindness he brought into the lives of others.

He is survived by his parents, Jim and LouAnn Munoa, his sister, Becky (Chris) Clark, and brother, Ryan Rowe. He is also survived by his nephew, Hunter Clark.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Marie Hansen, and his uncle, Jim Reams.
