Georgia Marie Gorringe, our beloved Mother, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on September 18, 2022 due to natural causes.

Georgia married her childhood sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Gorringe. They enjoyed 73 years of marriage. She worked at Leslie's French Pastries and was a fantastic cake decorator, creating all her children's wedding cakes.

Georgia water skied for the last time at age 70 and became a first-time author at the age of 86. She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Posey (Bruce Hammon), Jackie Lunn (Terry), Charmaine Christy (Paul), and son, Dominique Gorringe (Caroll Mackay) and brother, George "Butch" Mattox. 18 Grandchildren, 36 Great-Grandchildren, 20 Great – Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Bob, son Rick, grandson Kazz and great-grandson, Bodie.

Funeral Saturday October 1, 2022, Graveside Service 11:30AM at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 1750 East 3300 South. Viewing at Holbrook Mortuary. 3251 South 2300 East. Friday, September 30, 2022 6:00PM-8:00PM and 10:00AM-11:00AM Saturday, October 1, 2022 prior to graveside service.
