Geraldine “Gerri” Housley Jenson

Geraldine “Gerri” Housley Jenson returned home to her heavenly father on March 15, 2023 at the age of 87 years old.
Gerri was born in Morgan, Utah on June 15, 1935 to Charles Greer Housley and Isla Katherine Rich.
On March 9, 1962 Gerri married the love of her life Lynn M. Jenson who she shared many wonderful years with until his passing on December 4, 2011. Their daughters Kari and Kim will miss them both dearly.
Gerri worked at American Express until she retired, she was a dedicated and hard working Correspondent Clerk she worked late and went in early. Dad used to say mom is saving American Express. She won an award for tracking a man’s travelers checks down and helping him with it.
Mom loved garden nursery’s looking at all the plants and garden decorations. She and dad loved to spend time on their patio and enjoy the summer their favorite time of year. She really really loved Gnomes!
Mom was always searching for the perfect hamburger. She would hear of a place and go check it out; sometimes they were just shacks but she loved them.
She is preceded in death by her Husband Lynn M. Jenson, her parents Charles Greer Housley and Isla Katherine Rich, and her loving mother in law Gretta Jenson whom she was very close to.
She is survived by her daughters Kari Lynn Jenson, Kim Hendersen, and granddaughter Michael Nicole Ensign.
A viewing will be held at the Butler 10th Ward on 6634 Greenfield Way Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121 at 12:00 PM on March 21, 2023. Following the viewing a funeral service will start at 1:00 PM with interment to follow at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary and Cemetery on 3115 East 7800 South Bengal Blvd Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121.
