Our loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away July 28, 2013.
She was born May 24, 1923 in Minersville, Utah to Goldwyn and Hilda Myers Marshall. She graduated from Milford High School. She married S.E. (Gene) Pitchforth on March 25, 1942. She was a long time resident of Murray- 61 years. When she was 45 years old she went back to school at Salt Lake Community College and received an Associate’s degree in Accounting. She worked for the state Board of Education for 14 years. She was an avid sports fan, but family always came first. She adored and cherished her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, children Judy (Jesse) McArthur, Murray, Utah; Sam (Lois) Pitchforth, Lehi Utah: Shane (Laurie) Pitchforth, Ferron, Utah. 11 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Kent (Mary Faye) Marshall, Hayward (Ruth) Marshall; 2 sisters, Maxine (Ralph) Bailey, and Helen Stubbs, and Brother-in-law Dan (Cheryl) Brinkerhoff.
She was preceded in death by her son Brent, parents, a great grandchild, brother Lee, and sisters Lauree, and Geraldine.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah Wednesday, July 31. A Viewing will be held from 10:30-12:00 prior to services. Friends may leave condolences by going to www.Murraymemorial.com
