Glen “Arden” Hansen

Glen Arden Hansen passed away at the age of 93 surrounded by loving family on February 21, 2023, in Eagle Mountain, Utah. He was born on September 18, 1929, in Cardston, Alberta, Canada, to James A. and Margaret J. Hansen. He married his sweetheart, Donna Jean Jones, on June 15, 1953.
Arden was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in the New Zealand Mission. He was active in the church and scouting. He loved being a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple and enjoyed genealogy.
He was devoted to his loving wife Donna and their family. He loved fishing, camping, and traveling. He loved playing Skipbo. Arden’s nickname could have been “Mr. Fix-it!”
Arden is survived by his children: Michael Hansen, Kathy (Darold) Rowley, Thomas (Sandra) Hansen, and Ken Hansen. 17 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Hansen, son Dennis Hansen, his parents, and 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM with a viewing held one-hour prior beginning at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 7944 North Smith Ranch Road, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
Arden will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
