Glen returned to his heavenly father on December 27, 2014. He was born July 11, 1934 to Albert Glen Fagg and Ruby May Barratt Fagg in Murray, Utah. He met the love of his life, LaPriel Tuttle Fagg, while singing in the Sacra Dulce Chorus. They were married in the Manti Temple on July 28, 1962 and shared 52 years of happiness.
He joined the Army when he was 18 years old and upon his return home he attended the University of Utah. There he worked hard and earned his Masters Degree. He taught Geography and Utah Studies at Wasatch Jr. High for 42 years, where he had the opportunity to enrich many students' lives. He was a proud recipient of the Full Bright Scholarship and was given the honor to study in Turkey. Glen was famous for his Monterey salsa and tortilla chips, the rice diet challenge and the extra credit bike ride thru East Millcreek. He was very active with the National Geographic Alliance and accompanied several students to Washington D.C. for the National Geography Bee. Glen was a hardworking father and husband who when he wasn't teaching he was hanging drywall in numerous houses across the Salt Lake Valley. He also enjoyed many callings in the LDS church over the years. No family event or gathering was complete without Glen saying the prayer and proclaiming his signature statement from his Uncle Carl; "Eat as long as you're able!" He loved skiing, canyon car rides and road trips, movies, the UTES, ketchup, Jeopardy, Millie's Burgers (where they knew him by name) and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, LaPriel; children, Marcie Motley, Stephanie Nelson, Rachelle (Johnny) Montoya, JaNae Gibbs and Brad (Emily) Fagg, 8 loving grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, grand-daughter and great-grandson.
Glen's family would like to thank all of his family and friends for the love and support and a special thank you to all those that cared for him at the VA Hospital and Holladay Healthcare Center.
