Glen LeRoy Nygren, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother passed away May 26, 2018. Born February 8, 1937 to Evald Sonny Nygren and Pearl Uffens Nygren in Salt Lake City, Utah. Glen attended Granite High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt Air Craft Carrier. He loved playing golf, U of U football, and the Utah Jazz.

He married Irene Martinez, and had 3 children, later divorced. He married Genevieve Paez in the Ogden Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and Jenny served a mission to Tampa, Florida and a Salt Lake City mission.

He loved working in his store, Nygren's Market, making sure all his customers felt loved and appreciated. Glen was store manager of Dan's for many years.

Survived by his wife, Jenny; children, Stephanie Nygren, Glen (Sheila) Nygren Jr, Michelle (Gordon) Dye; step-children, Jeff (Liz) Mack, Perry Mack, Julie Mack, Joel (Wendy) Mitchell, Adam Mitchell; siblings, Joelene (Gary) Peck, Julie Stauffer, Joyce (lee) Dansie, Jarilyn (Norm) Wiberg, Curtis (Wendy) Nygren, Jill (Steve) McPherron; grandchildren, Marteen, Derek, Christopher, Anthony, Samantha, Andre', Ian, Aja, Stephen, Taylor, Austin, Dallas, Jeffrey; and great-grandchild, Lynlee. Preceded in death by a grandson, Arik Mack.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00am at the Riverbend Ward, 895 West 4800 South, Taylorsville; where friends and family can visit 10:00-10:45am prior to the service.
