Glenn Shirley Stewart

Glenn Shirley Stewart, age 89, passed away peacefully at home September 18, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Glenn was born December 18, 1923 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Glenn H. Stewart and Bernice Hill Stewart. He married Ruth Rae Mulvay on May 25, 1945 in Marianna, Florida. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

He served in the Air Force during World War II. He enlisted in the Air National Guard during the Korean War and served in the Philippines. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for over 40 years.

Glenn is survived by two daughters, Paula (Richard) Madsen of Salt Lake City and Laurie (Wayne) Bahr of Murray, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Elaine. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a sister, and a brother.
