Gloria Lynne Bacca

Gloria Lynne Bacca, a beloved person by many, passed away on October 9, 2025, in Taylorsville, Utah. Born on November 11, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Gloria’s vibrant personality and infectious spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

From an early age, Gloria was known as a people person. Her ability to forge friendships with ease was a defining characteristic throughout her life. Whether it was through her hobbies, which included making diamond paintings and jewelry, or her passion for playing card games every Monday evening with dear friends, Gloria radiated warmth and kindness. Her love for technology, as evident in her enjoyment of playing games on her iPad, showcased her adventurous spirit and willingness to embrace modernity.

Gloria cherished the time spent with her family, particularly with her granddaughters, Kiah Matchett and Keiana Orr, and her four great-grandchildren. The joy they brought her was immeasurable, and her role as a devoted matriarch was one she embraced wholeheartedly.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Bacca, and her daughter, Jennifer Litchfield. Gloria's warmth and nurturing presence will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.

Gloria is also preceded in death by her beloved family members: Charles Medici, Gloria Medici, David Medici, her sister-in-law Laura Medici, her niece Angela Medici, and her great grandparents Ralph and Jean Dunn. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved them.

A Celebration of Life in Gloria’s honor will be held at the LDS Church located at 895 W. 4800 S., Taylorsville, UT 84123, on November 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This gathering will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together and share stories, honoring the legacy of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many.
