Gloria Ann Clark

Gloria Ann Clark, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, artist, gardener, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026, at the age of 90.

Born on June 10, 1936, in Fremont, Utah, Gloria lived a life marked by love, hard work, creativity, and devotion to her family. She shared 72 years of marriage with Calvin H. Clark. Together they built a life centered on family, service, and enduring faith. Their love was strengthened by being sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity, a covenant that remained a source of joy and comfort throughout their lives.

A devoted homemaker, Gloria created a welcoming home where family and friends felt loved and valued. She was a talented artist and an avid gardener whose homemade jams and candies became family favorites. She enjoyed boating with family and friends, attending University of Utah sporting events, and was rarely without a list of projects that reflected her energy and enthusiasm for life. Gloria especially loved the holiday season and created magical Christmas celebrations for her children and grandchildren, filling her home with treasured traditions and cherished memories. She also cherished time spent with her family at their home in Torrey, Utah. Known for her creativity, generosity, quick wit, and a touch of spunk, Gloria brought warmth wherever she went. Whether tending her garden, sharing something homemade from her kitchen, or offering her thoughts with characteristic honesty, she left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Gloria's greatest joy was her family, and she was deeply grateful for the love and relationships that enriched her life. She is survived by her husband, Calvin H. Clark; her children, Kennard Calvin Clark and his wife, Sandra; Bradley Howard Clark and his wife, Dianne; Teresa Clark Hyatt and her husband, Dick; and Francine Marshall and her husband, Troy; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth James Taylor and Elsie Morrell Taylor, and her sister, Doris Baker.
