Gloria Jean Smith Naumann McDonald, age 81, Our Angel Mother Gloria slept her way into Heaven April 10, 2011 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born September 4, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Sidney Harrison and Jeanie Miller Taylor Smith.

She married her Eternal sweetheart Arthur Oswin Naumann October 30, l953 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. They were blessed with three children; Court P. Naumann (Janae), Lissa K. Last (Curt), Leslie C. Huntsman (Michael), 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Gloria lovingly cared for her children, ill husband, and parents all of her adult life. She was also a devoted elementary school librarian, teaching children to love books as she did.

On Sept 30, l982 She married Jack Alex McDonald who brought laughter and happiness to her life, along with his 8 children, 34 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She loved them all dearly and found joy in their endeavors and accomplishments.

Gloria was a devoted member of the L.D.S. faith, with a deep love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was the perfect example of grace, virtue, and Christ-like love. She will truly be missed by all.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care given by Dignity Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 12:00 noon at the Garden Heights Ward, 2220 East Fisher Lane (2935 South). A viewing will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday evening at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the services.
