Grace Anne Brown Reeves

August 5, 1935 — July 31, 2023

Grace Anne Brown Reeves was born on August 5th, 1935 in Ogden, Utah to John Paul and June Larsen Brown. She left the challenges and joys of this life on July 31st, 2023.
She was educated in Ogden, graduating from Weber High School and attending Weber College before moving to Salt Lake and graduating from the University of Utah.
In 1957 she married Darrell Ravenberg in Ogden, Utah. They had one daughter, Kristen, and were later divorced. In 1962 she moved to New Zealand to marry Glen Camomile in the New Zealand Temple and to teach at the Church College in Temple View. She and Glen had three daughters: Katy, Amy, and Eden; they were later divorced. In 2001 she married and was sealed to her eternal companion, Delbert Reeves in the Salt Lake Temple.
Anne taught school for 40 years and loved the positive impact she was able to have on thousands of elementary students. Joys in her life included the 20 years she sang in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, her association with the Genesis Group LDS organization, and a good piece of chocolate. Anne loved trips in the motorhome and especially enjoyed her trips to Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival with the neighborhood ladies. She and Del truly enjoyed the friendships and fun of their Monday night card group as well as the fun of playing cards with family.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Anne served others throughout her life. She sponsored a refugee immigrant family in her home. In addition to the Tabernacle Choir, she served in the Church as ward chorister, ward choir director, and member of the stake music committee. She worked as a service missionary at the Church Office Building in the Member Locator Department for several years and served a full-time mission to Mexico with her husband, Delbert. She served as an ordinance worker in both the New Zealand and Salt Lake temples.
Anne is survived by her husband Delbert Reeves, her daughters Kristen (Steve) Bentley, Katy Hayes, Amy Petersen, and Eden (Darby) Morgan, by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, her brother David (Patty) Brown, and by Delbert’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
