Gregory L. Gruis

April 22, 1947 — September 16, 2022

Gregory L. Gruis, also known as Gregg, “damnit Gregg”, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle, and friend has left us with lots of love, memories, and laughs.
Gregory L. Gruis was born to Laurin Oscar Gruis & Ida Mae Heller on April 22, 1947. Gregg enlisted in the United States Navy and served on active duty during the Vietnam War. After returning from the Navy, Cathrine Jean Uber became his beloved wife on March 20th 1971. Gregg and Cathy were later sealed together for eternity in the Oakland, CA LDS temple. Gregg and Cathy had 3 wonderful children: Jennifer (Elmer), Jeffery (David, Andrew), and Kevin (Heidi). From a previous marriage, Gregg also had another son, Greg Wogan (Keri). Gregg enjoyed his 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Gregg was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong testimony of our savior Jesus Christ. Gregg loved taking trips to Disneyland to see his best pal, Mickey Mouse and enjoy the laughter and thrills with his family.
Gregg is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his sister. Gregg loved Roy Roger movies and wanted to wish everyone, “Happy Trails to you, until we meet again.”
