Harla Jean Sutherland

Harla was born on November 26, 1947 to Elizabeth and Buck Parker. She passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 75 peacefully of natural causes at the Family Tree Assisted Living Center in Morgan, Utah. She is survived by her daughter Dee Sutherland, her grandchildren, and countless friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Charly Sutherland and husband, Lamar Sutherland.
Harla lived a full and adventurous life, made great impressions on all who met her. She had stories of driving derby cars, bull riding, and as a barrel racer. There was nothing she wouldn’t try. Harla had a great love of animals, which at one time included wolf pups. She loved playing bingo, helping her family, and the monthly auction her daughter ran at the Family Tree Assisted Living Center.
Harla will be greatly missed, she brought joy with her everywhere she went.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road. Friends and family are welcome to attend a viewing from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM prior to services.
Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
