Harriet Ethel (Lagerquist) Blain

Harriet Ethel Lagerquist Blain passed away peacefully on January 23, 2015 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born in North Platte, Nebraska on October 5, 1930 to Ethel Hiatt and Harry Lagerquist. In 1978 she married Arthur Dale Blain in Elko, Nevada.

She loved music and sang in the Oratorio Society of Utah, she especially enjoyed the opportunity they had to sing in the Tabernacle. She was blessed with perfect pitch (one in 10,000), the ability to transpose music in her head and also to play by ear. She was a student of the piano for 17 years.

She retired from the Utah Foundation after 17 years.

Harriet is survived by her three children, Michael, Rebecca, Jeffrey (Elizabeth); granddaughter, Brandi Dukes; and great-grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler.
