Harry Norman

Harry Norman, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at home January 9, 2016.  He was born in Lincoln, England on August 2, 1939 to Noel and Frances Norman.  After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield University, he worked for Pera in Melton Mowbray.  He came to the USA in 1968 with his wife and children to work for Westinghouse on the planning team of new turbine startup in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He then moved to Georgetown, Texas with Westinghouse to start up another factory.  He came to Salt Lake City in 1977 to work for Envirotech then on to Eimco.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Margaret (Randy) Sandefur, Valerie Novick, grandchildren Lindzey, Rachel, Collin, Jackie and Brad, two brothers, two sisters, and spouses and beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday January 15, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East.
