Hazel "Edna" Hubbard Jones

July 17, 1920 — April 21, 2010

Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, left this world peacefully April 21, 2010, just after her husband of almost 67 years gave her his final embrace.

She was born July 17, 1920 in Brigham City, Utah, to William Curtis and Mary Powelson Hubbard. She married her sweetheart, Vernon A. Jones, June 1, 1943 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on Dec. 1, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. Edna was always an example of goodness in this life as she raised her four children. She excelled in her schooling and did her best whether it was homemaking or working at the V.A. Hospital for many years. She had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and served many years as Primary teacher and leader in her church. She is survived by husband; sons, Brent and Carl; daughters, Eileen (Steve Wottlin) and Beverly Francom (Myron); 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wendell; sisters, Vera Hoskins and Ruth Bodily.
