Helen Anderson

Helen R Anderson, age 87, passed away on August 07, 2025, in Sandy, Utah. She was born on November 06, 1937, in Oakland, California to Henry Rahlfs and Elsa M Krell Rahlfs. She married Gayle B Anderson on October 15, 1963.

She loved music. She sang professionally with the “Jo Burton Singers” and “Sandy City Choir.” She was the ward choir director. Her passion was chocolate but especially the dark chocolate M&M’s. You could find Helen watching a Hallmark movie or doing one of her word search puzzles. She loved the church and especially loved the Lord. Helen served an LDS mission in British Columbia. Family was her life; she loved and adored her children and grandchildren.

Helen is survived by Tamara Anderson, Blaine Anderson, and Janae Hultquist (Travis). Also, her 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gayle B Anderson and parents: Henry Rahlfs and Elsa Rahlfs.
