Helen Kathryne Willson Stathakis

Helen Kathryne Willson Stathakis age 91, died peacefully on February 16, 2013 after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Helen was born in Dinuba, California to Fred Otis Willson and Emma Brown Willson. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Ted.

Helen worked as a bookkeeper for several years while raising two children in Jamestown, New York, where they lived until 1970. Helen loved to garden and she was an accomplished seamstress. She volunteered as a Brownie Housemother. After moving to Naperville, Illinois she learned to golf and volunteered with a local garden club. Helen loved babysitting for her grandchildren. She and Ted were fortunate to enjoy cruises and golf vacations with friends. They moved to Salt Lake City in 2004 to be closer to family.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Villa, Visiting Angels, Good Shepherd Hospice, Dr. Fred Gottlieb and the Stephen Ministry of Christ United Methodist Church for all their loving care.
