Our loving sister, aunt and friend, passed away on July 10, 2013. Riet was born on May 23, 1935 in Rotterdam, Holland to Gerrit A. Coomans and Hendrika deRoo. She loved to play the piano for the Junior Sunday School. She worked for the law firm of Kessler and Rust for 30 years. She was very good to her nieces and nephews, all who loved her very much.
She is survived by her sisters, Johanna Bowles and Maria Duehlmeier, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013, 11 a.m. at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. A viewing will be held at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary one hour prior to services on Monday.
The family would like to thank the many neighbors who held watch over and took care of Riet throughout the years.
