Herminia Gonzalez

Herminia Gonzalez passed peacefully on December 22, 2022. She was born on June 11, 1946 in Ocotlan, Jalisco Mexico to Antonio Gonzalez and Soleda Santibañez.
Herminia married the love of her life Felipe Gonzalez on January 1, 1969 and together they lived a very full and blessed life with 55 wonderful years together. They shared three sons, one daughter, and later in life were blessed with 12 beautiful grandchildren. Herminia deeply cared for the people she loved.
She loved to travel, with Hawaii being her last trip. She enjoyed walking, hiking, and adventures in the mountains which were her absolute favorite. Herminia was a social butterfly and easily made friends everywhere she went. She loved to make people smile and laugh, especially when on phone calls with her children. Herminia worked hard her entire life. Her presence was greatly loved and cherished and will be deeply missed. We love you Mi Novia!
She is survived by her three sons and one daughter, including their own spouses. Moises & (Annie) Gonzalez, Catalina Roylance & (Jesus Flores), Jose Antonio & (Janey) Gonzalez, and Victor Gonzalez &  (Cindy Saldana); grandchildren: Tanesha, Antonio, Makayla, Gabby, Kaylee, Alex, Emmanuel, Jacob, Maya, Moy, Milly, and Loreal; and three siblings in Mexico. She was preceded in death by Asension Velazquez “Chonita”
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 S Redwood Road. A time for visitation will be held at the mortuary on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow in the Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
