My beautiful soul mate, Holly passed away peacefully on April 30, 2014. She was born on July 27, 1973 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Shirl Edwin and DeeAnn M. Holbrook. Holly attended Rosecrest Elementary, The Open Classroom, Evergreen Junior High, Olympus High School and graduated from Highland High School. Holly is survived by the love of her life, husband Gregory W. Aitken, and her two lively and loving pugs, Willie and Ruby. She is also survived by parents, her brothers Jason Holbrook, Raegan Holbrook (wife Julie), father-in-law John Aitken, and Greg's family Drake, Mark, Stewart and Heather. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Arthur James and Vilate B. McAllister, Ira E. and Myrtle J. Holbrook and mother-in-law Betty Ann Aitken. Holly was our own little ball of energy and touched many lives with her zest and love for life. During her growing up years Holly loved soccer, playing on a co-ed team, rock climbing, and keeping her parents on their toes. Later she was proficient at telemark skiing, learning from her husband, Greg. She loved her home, cooking for her family and spending time with Greg, Willie and Ruby. Holly was a gracious little lady who will leave a big empty hole in our lives. In lieu of flowers please spend quality time with loved ones and/or make a donation to the Humane Society.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery. Messages to the family can be posted at: www.HolbrookMortuary.com.
