HUGH CLAIR HEATH 8/31/1936 TO 05/21/2007
Our beloved husband, father and grandpa returned to our Heavenly Father, after he died unexpectedly on Monday, May 21st, of a massive heart attack with those he loved by his side. Hugh was born August 31, 1936 in Rio, Wisconsin to Clair Leroy and Ella Peck Heath. Hugh married Gloria Wilson on September 24, 1956 in San Jose, California. Their marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed. He was a devoted husband to his wife Gloria and just celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary. He cherished his children and grandchildren. Among his many accomplishments in life, he was a faithful member of the LDS Church, graduated from UCLA and worked for many years with Northrop Corporation as an aeronautical engineer. He was a key element in the designing of the B-2 stealth bomber. He loved jazz music and was a computer genius. His family looked to him for advice on all matters.
Survived by his wife, Gloria Wilson; Sister, Lenore (Hedy) Heath; children; Allison Jones (Thomas), Kimberly Jensen (Cory), and Geoffrey Heath (Ashley), Grandchildren; Christopher, Nicholas, Kimberly, Alex, Austin, Sophia, and Alexandria; extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday May 25, 2007, 11:00am at the Hillcrest 2nd Ward, 8735 South Harvard Park Drive (1065 East). Friends may visit with the family on Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Friday morning from 9:45am to 10:45am prior to services.
