Hugo Silva, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of 62, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 27, 1964.
Hugo was a strong, disciplined, and hardworking man who carried himself with pride throughout his life. Known for his stern and tough exterior, many saw him as strict but those closest to him knew that everything he did came from a place of love. He held high standards for himself and for those around him, always wanting the very best for his family.
He had a military background in Guatemala, a part of his life that reflected his strength, resilience, and discipline, qualities he carried with him throughout his life and passed down to his family.
He instilled in his children the importance of giving their full effort in everything they do, a mindset that continues to guide them every day.
Hugo was a highly skilled master mechanic who could fix anything and was always there to work on his family’s vehicles, no matter the task. He also worked as a CDL driver and took great pride in his abilities, especially his skill in test-taking, something he spoke about with confidence.
He had a deep love for soccer and was a dedicated fan of Real Madrid, a passion that brought him joy throughout his life.
Above all, Hugo was a family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Ana Luisa Silva; his sons, Mike Silva, Hugo Rene Silva, and Christopher Silva; and his nine grandchildren, who were a source of great pride and love in his life.
We were not ready to say goodbye so soon. Hugo Silva will be remembered for his strength, his discipline, his work ethic, and the values he instilled in those he loved. He will be deeply missed, and his legacy will live on forever through his family.
