Irene Castillo

With both sadness and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved aunt, Irene Castillo, at the age of 96.

She lived a remarkable life filled with adventures, traveling the world and collecting stories wherever she went. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where her incredible cooking brought family and friends together time and time again.

Above all, she shared a love story with her husband, Jose Miguel Castillo, that was truly unforgettable. They were inseparable until his passing 13 years ago, and we take comfort in believing they are reunited once again.

Her warmth, strength, and generous spirit will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20th at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., Mass at 11:00 am, followed by a catered lunch.
