Our dear father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Ivan Andrew Danielson, 96, passed away Monday November 3. Ivan was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 8, 1929, in the midst of the great depression. He was the second child of Iris Viola Brostedt and Andrew Mattias Danielson and the brother of Ina. He married Faunda Naillon, September 16, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple on November 13, 1996. Ivan served a two year stint in the army, after which he worked at Chicago Bridge and Iron in Salt Lake City starting out as a welder then a Welding Supervisor.

Ivan lived a life of hard work and service. He and Faunda served a mission at the Bishops storehouse and also served in the Jordan River Temple baptistry for several years. He and Faunda raised three boys and a girl. Ivan is survived by his sons, Douglas (Debra); Dennis (Bonnie); Donald (Julie); and Denette (Wendy). They leave behind eleven grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Ivan lived a life filled with faith, service and love for his family and although we will miss him greatly we are so happy for him to finally be back with his wife, Faunda, and all the many others he loved here on earth who are waiting for him in the next life.

Funeral services for Ivan will be held in the LDS Church located at 6695 South 2200 West, West Jordan Utah on November 20, with Viewing at 10 and Funeral services at 11:00 AM.
