Jack Lynn Church

Jack Lynn Church passed away April 10, 2023, having never complained of the physical challenges he suffered for the last several years of his life.
He was born March 21, 1939. He grew up in Burley Idaho on a small family farm with seven siblings, he being the second oldest. He loved life. Lynn played high school sports and received several scholarship offers to play basketball and football. Lynn chose to play basketball for what was then Ricks College. He later attended the University of New Mexico, followed by the University of Utah where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.
Lynn was a member of a Church basketball team that won the all Church Tournament two years and had successive runner-up titles for several years.
Lynn started an insurance business that he successfully ran for several years until his retirement. He could fix anything, and he loved to tinker and invent. In the last few years, he became very active in the LDS church was ordained an Elder and received his temple blessings.
Lynn had many friends whom he loved, and they loved him. He was always willing to help anyone and famously saying his special birthday song to hundreds.
Lynn is survived by siblings Eric Church, Stan Church, and Lausanne Church Jensen, sons, Chad Bailey, and Gregg Bailey, along with countless cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
