It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Jackson Ivan Rowley. Born on September 6th, 1998, Jackson suddenly passed away at the young age of 25 on January 2nd, 2024.
Jackson spent most of his life enjoying his passions. He was a tremendously talented self-taught musician and would share that gift with close friends, as well as family. Anyone who had the opportunity to experience him playing the guitar was touched by his artistic soul. Jackson's out-of-pocket humor made every conversation surrounded by laughter. In addition to his love for music, he found joy in playing video games, spending time with his cat (Corn Shake), and immersing himself in nature whenever possible.
His caring nature extended to every individual he encountered. Going above and beyond to brighten someone's day, Jackson dedicated the early years of his career to caring for young adults with special needs. For over three years, he played a pivotal role in helping them lead more independent lives, from preparing meals to playing games and even enjoying the same movie on repeat. Jackson deeply cared for every individual he met.
Jackson will be sorely missed and is survived by his father, Rod Rowley [Janalee Waters]; mother, Katherine (Parson) McKenna [Shane McKenna]; sisters: Melissa Rowley Madsen, Sydney Hart, Meagan Byrd, and Katelyn Rowley; Grandmother, Barbara Rowley nephews: Zak Rowley, Asher Byrd; nieces: McKenzie Madsen, Ava Byrd; and dear friend: Sadie Roberts.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ivan D Rowley, Bonnie Whipperman, and Conrad Whipperman.
Jackson’s love and light transformed the lives of everyone he encountered; he was truly one of a kind. Jackson will never be forgotten but forever remembered and missed by those fortunate enough to know him.
