James (J.P.) Wendrich (Steck)

James (J.P.) Wendrich, Steck, Craig (21) our son, brother, grandson and friend, tragically left this world on December 18, 2022 just three short days before his 22nd birthday.
J.P. is survived by his mom, Brandi Wendrich, his Step-Dad Jared Wendrich, his little brother, Mason Wendrich, his grandmother, Colleen Steck, and many family and friends that loved him dearly.
The bond that J.P. had between him and his mom, was fierce. In his young years, he and his mom were two inseparable peas in a pod. J.P. (Peezer) was his mom’s everything.
J.P. is preceded in death and has now been reunited with his Grandpa Doug, whom he loved like a father figure and had a very deep connection with.
A special bond was also shared with his Grandma and bonus Mom Colleen. Their love for each other was undeniable and their presence brought each other comfort in their hardest of times.
J.P. could make friends anywhere and, in any situation, he was the life of the party.
We will miss you J.P. – even though you are gone way too soon, the memories and joys of you will go on living. There are no words to express the amount of love we have for you and the deep loss we will forever feel.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 2:30 pm at Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S. Highland Drive with a viewing beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment at Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary.
