James Leroy Martin, 73 years, passed away on September 19, 2017 at home in Taylorsville, Utah. He was born May 13, 1944 in Denver, Colorado to Roy Paul Martin and Genevieve Martin. He married Meredyth Martin on July 23, 1962.
He enjoyed showing his horse “Missy” to All Around 2 years in a row. James worked for the Civil Service for many years and retired on January 1, 2011.
He is survived by his loving wife, Meredyth; son, Gary L. Martin; grandson, Joshua K. Martin; 2 great grandchildren, Joshua T & Kimberly Donna Martin. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and sister, Dolores Hoffman.
Graveside services will be Saturday, September 23, 2017, 12:00 pm at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Millcreek, UT.Service Information
