James Don Schofield

James Don Schofield, age 38, passed away peacefully at home on December 4, 2013, while surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death just four months ago by his big brother, Steven. They were very close.

He was born February 28, 1975 to Don Baxter and Veda Peterson Schofield. Jim was a plumber by trade and a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend at heart. He loved music, skiing, golfing and helping anyone in need. He will be dearly missed during this brief mortal separation, but we are reassured of a happy and glorious reuniting with him in the next life.

Jim is survived by his parents Don and Veda, his sisters Raynalyn Workman, Dawnette (Craig) Jolley, Sandra (Cameron) Browning, sister-in-law Becky Schofield, and many nieces and nephews. The family thanks Intermountain Hospice Care for their kind and sensitive care.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 9, 2013, 11:00am at the Butler 7th Ward, 1355 E 7200 S, Cottonwood Heights. Friends can visit with the family Sunday evening 6:00-8:00pm at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S 2300 E, and Monday morning at the church 9:30-10:30am prior to the service. Interment will be at Elysian Burial Gardens.
