Jane Pearson

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away on March 27, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jane was born October 17, 1918 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Fonce and Stella Ryan. She graduated from West High where she met her sweetheart Cecil Pearson. They were married on May 10, 1939. They made their home in Salt Lake and raised four children. Jane's entire life was built around her family. Going to Grandma's for gatherings was such an integral part of our lives. She was always so generous and especially loved to spoil her grandchildren. Her Christmas Eve parties, which she held for over 40 years, will be sorely missed. Jane loved to garden, read, bake and sew. She was never without a faithful dog at her side.

Jane is survived by her sister Betty Kieser, daughters Carolyn Schick and Kathy (John) Mabey, and sons David (Chris) Pearson and Jerry (Sammy) Pearson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cecil and her grandson Steven Pack. She will be especially missed by her daughter Carolyn with whom she lived for many years.
