Janet passed away in her home peacefully in her sleep. She was 72 years old. Born on February 21, 1950, to Donald and Barbara Frederickson in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Her parents, soon after she was born, made the journey to Salt Lake City, Utah where they settled into the home she was raised in. She attended Highland High School and then Dixie College where she was studying to become a flight attendant.
Janet met the Love of her life David Partridge while attending a church dance as she was attempting to retrieve her purse so she could go home.
Janet and David were Married in the Salt Lake Temple on August eighth, 1973 for time and eternity.
They joined a couple’s volleyball team and an archery league at Datus Archery Club where they would bring home many trophies.
They had four children together Natalie, Doug, Donald, and Tracie who she Loved Dearly.
Janet had many things that she was passionate about. Her membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the most important thing to her as she was very diligent in her efforts to be at church every Sunday because that’s where she needed to be.
She worked for the Jordan School District for well over 15 years.
Janet showed great enthusiasm and passion for traveling. Having several family fishing trips in Alaska and multiple cruise destinations to name a few.
She is remembered for her strength, her love of the color purple, and a reader of the Michael Vey series. Amongst many other authors.
And last but not least Her Love for the Utah Jazz!! She was a loyal fan and she loved cheering for her team even if that meant being very loud and shouting things like “d-d-d-Defense” or “Let’s go Jazz here we go”, just to name a couple.
Janet was preceded in death by her Father Donald S. Frederickson, Mother Barbara Frederickson, Husband David Toombs Partridge, Daughter Tracie, Granddaughter Linzie, and Brother Kent.
Survived by Natalie (Paul) Larsen, Doug (Mickie), Donald (Mindy), Alissa Partridge (Granddaughter), Makayla (Granddaughter), Reese, Donivon, Justyn (Grandsons) and Her Brother Keith Frederickson.
The viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, January 9th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7511 S 2700 W, West Jordan, UT 84084.
A short viewing will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 10th with services to follow at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7511 S 2700 W, West Jordan, UT 84084.
Graveside services will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 S Highland Dr. Millcreek, UT 84106.Service Information
