Janet Grace Orr

Janet Grace Orr, aged 80, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2022 at her home in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on August 10, 1942 in Cornish, Utah to Clarence and Alene Dobbs. She married Dick Orr on July 15, 1960.
Janet enjoyed gardening, yard work, bowling, watching her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, as well as Dick’s softball games. She loved camping and fishing, family gatherings, reading romance novels, shopping, as well as listening to Neil Diamond and country music.
If you could sum up Janet’s greatest accomplishment, it would be that she was a loving sister, daughter, Mom and Grandma.
She is survived by her children; Todd (Gena), Wendy (Chad), Brian (Kamille), Brad (Tonya) and Mark (Erin). She is also survived by her grandkids; Bracken, Preston, Gabe, Nick (Bri), Shandy (Alex), Skyler, Jonah, Annaliese (Trevan), CJ, Kylee (Logan), Karson (Hayden), Kaydree, Jake, Kyle and Caden, her 12 great-grandkids, and her sisters, Sandy (Aaron) and Kim (Clayton).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dick Orr, her father, Clarence S. Dobbs, and her mother, Alene Dobbs.
An evening viewing will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah. There will be a daytime viewing the next day, Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, being held again at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary, with the funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery immediately following.
