Janet Jemima Llewellyn Taylor

April 24, 1935 — October 11, 2022

October 11, 2022 age 87, passed on to her next life while in her bed surrounded by loved ones at Legacy Hills Assisted Living Memory Care in Taylorsville, Utah. Born on April 24, 1935 in Mapleton, Utah to Fay Llewellyn and Mina Cazier Llewellyn youngest sibling in her family with three older brothers; Robert Llewellyn, Junior Llewellyn, and Morris Llewellyn. Janet graduated from Springville High School on December 17, 1953 and after met and married Delbert Taylor in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Together they made home in Murray, Utah and had five children Brent, Jeanine, Kathleen, David, and Daren. Janet eventually parted ways with Delbert and years later married Carl William (Bill) Fink. They lived in Bountiful, Utah, then later moved to Murray, Utah. When they parted ways, Janet continued to reside in the Murray/ Taylorsville, Utah area for the remainder of her life.
Diagnosed with CLL, Chronic Lymphoma Leukemia, it was never a feat for her in the later parts of her life and while she lived with it, thankfully, it was never a big problem for her. Unrelated to Leukemia, she was diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer’s which eventually took her life. A lady who had many hobbies; She loved to dance and was an amazing acrobat in her high school years, loved baking and was an excellent cook, as well as an excellent seamstress. Janet loved chocolate! Gift giving was her love language through and through, and she had a great love for all of her dogs – they were her most prized possessions. Janet always loved to look her best and dress cute with matching jewelry. If her hair and makeup was not done, even at 87 years she was always stressing “kid, I need my hair done”. She loved being included and feeling important from her beloved family and she absolutely loved babies. Everyone in the family prays that she is at peace and feels genuine happiness and joy.
Janet was preceded in death by her mother Mina, father Fay, brothers Morris and Junior, Daughter-in-law Dusty Taylor (Brent), Great Grandson William Michael Davidson, Great Granddaughter Indy Llew Jones, and son David Llewellyn Taylor.
She is survived by her brother Robert Llewellyn, daughter Jeanine Davidson (Will), son Brent Taylor, daughter Kathleen Whiting (Shane), son Daren Taylor (Tyra) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren!
Graveside services for Janet will be held Friday, October 28 at 1:00 pm at Murray City Cemetery. 5490 South Vine Street, Murray UT 84107 A celebration of life will be held in her honor following the graveside service at 6322 Crystal River Drive Murray, Utah 84123.
