Jay Lynn Kennedy

Jay Lynn Kennedy passed away on September 26, 2009 with his loving children at his side. Jay was born in Salt Lake City to Joseph and Beverly Kennedy on May 13, 1959.

He graduated from Brighton High School and went on to graduate first in his class at Fort Dix, New Jersey as an Army Corps Engineer. Jay married Barbara Cook in 1979 and later divorced, but remained friends until his passing. Jay loved spending time with friends and family, fishing, skiing, racing and traveling with his family. He adored his only granddaughter, Makaylee. He will be greatly missed.

Survived by his mother; children, Brandon, Nicholas, Melissa (Miguel); granddaughter Makaylee and grandson due in November; brothers, Jeff and Joel and their wives. Preceded in passing by his father and brother John.
