JeNeal Maxfield Boggess, age 83, died August 17, 2023 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on June 2, 1940, in American Fork, Utah to Louis E.O. and Rosamond Palmer Maxfield. She married H. David Boggess on June 27, 1980, in Kemmerer, Wyoming.
JeNeal was born and raised in South Jordan and Riverton, Utah along with five siblings. She had an in-depth musical ability with a love for beautiful harmony. She shared her musical talents her entire life. She began singing at age 4 with her brother, Rod, and continued singing in various groups and choirs. She loved Barbershop style music and sang Bass in her own Barbershop quartet. She also performed with the Sweet Adelines Choir for several years. She played the piano and encouraged her children to develop their musical abilities.
She was active in the square dance community, which she loved, also doing square dance calling. Her other hobbies include crocheting and sewing.
She worked for Mountain Bell, US West, and Quest as a dispatcher. She retired from Quest on January 1, 2000.
JeNeal was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christs of Latter-Day Saints, serving faithfully in many callings for the church.  She served as a Senior Missionary with her husband David in the Inner City Mission, Salt Lake City.
She is Survived by H. David Boggess (Husband) and children:  Julie Ann Covington (Robert), Margene Elliott, Cale Lennberg (Viengthong), Lana Lennberg, and Benjamin Lennberg; Step Children, Lisa Crawford, Clifford D. Boggess, Bill Boggess, Linda Johnson, Steven W. Boggess, and Brian D. Boggess; Siblings Rod (Gayla) Maxfield, Woodland, Utah and Cheryl (Bob) Peters Woods Cross, Utah); 26 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
She is Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Gerald Maxfield, Calvin Maxfield, sister-in-law Arlene, and Clark Maxfield.
Viewing will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mount Jordan 2nd Ward Chapel, 9331 South 300 East, Sandy, Utah on Friday, August 25, 2023, 6-8pm with services, Saturday, August 26, 2023, 10:00 am
Interment will be Saturday, August 26, 2023, Midvale Cemetery, 475 W 7500 S Midvale, UT 84047.
