Jerry Thomas Young, age 84, passed away on July 1, 2026 in Kearns, Utah. He was born on January 2, 1942 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Frank Young and Elizabeth Young (Shanholtzer). Jerry married Sharon Moon on March 29, 1961.
Jerry served in the Army, and retired from Kennecott Copper Mine. He enjoyed watching football with his brothers, yard work, BBQ's with his family, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Young, son Eldin, daughters Sherri (Sean), Teresa (Mike), brother Ray, sister Beva, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Elizabeth Young, brothers Larry, Brent, twin brother Terry, sister Carol, and grand-daugher Anna.
No services will be held per Jerry's wishes.
