Jessica Ann Cassity

Jessica Ann Cassity, 41, of Herriman, Utah, passed away on February 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and beautiful memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.

Born on October 4, 1984, Jessica lived a life defined by devotion—to her family, to her friends, and most of all to her daughter, Jordan Cassidy, who was the light and greatest love of her life. Being Jordan’s mom was Jessica’s proudest and most treasured role. Everything she did was rooted in love, and her daughter was the center of her world.

Jessica was a cherished daughter to Richard (Lynda) Cleland and the beloved late Sharon Scovel. She was a proud and caring sister to Jacob (Georgianna) Cleland, and a loving aunt to Dallas, Liliana, and Aubrey, who brought her immense joy. She also held a special bond with her grandmother, JoAnn Cleland, and now reunites in peace with her grandfather, Bill Cleland. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Jessica’s determination and drive were evident in all she pursued. She earned her Associate degree in Accounting Science from Salt Lake Community College, a reflection of her perseverance and commitment to building a meaningful life for herself and her daughter.

She had a free spirit and a deep love for adventure. Whether she was rock crawling in her Jeep, camping under the open sky, fishing, bowling, or taking cherished trips to Wendover filled with laughter and stories, Jessica embraced life wholeheartedly. She found joy in the outdoors and in simple, beautiful moments shared with the people she loved most.

Jessica had a way of making others feel seen and valued. Her laughter was contagious, her love unwavering, and her presence unforgettable. Though her time here feels far too short, the impact she made is lasting and profound.

While our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort knowing that her love continues on—in her daughter’s smile, in family traditions, in shared stories, and in the countless memories she created. Jessica’s spirit will forever shine in the lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with a viewing prior from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah.

She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and never forgotten.
