Jody Lynn Angstead

Jody Lynn Angstead, age 73, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Bountiful, Utah. Jody was born on September 7, 1952, in Ogden, Utah, to Roger and Elaine Grant.

She married Steven Angstead on September 1, 2008.

Jody loved baking and cooking for family, friends, and neighbors. She enjoyed sewing clothing, blankets, and quilts to give as gifts, and her cross-stitching was beautiful. She loved singing at church and many other events and had a passion for interior decorating and design. Jody served as a music director and teacher and was a devoted Relief Society leader in the LDS Church.

As a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jody created a beautiful home filled with love and warmth, always welcoming to family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Angstead; her sons Brandon and Shauna Rust of Centerville, Aaron and Jessica Rust of Sandy, and Deric and Elizabeth Rust of Bountiful; her grandchildren Phoebe, Alex, River, Cooper, Edison, Huxley, Stella, and Maggie; and her great-grandchildren Landon and Annabelle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Elaine Grant, and her sister, Nancy Kimball.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary, 1640 Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah, with a viewing prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 PM.
